Founded in 1986, the museum was originally created to house the remarkable collection of Nicholas and Dolly Goulandris, which has since become one of the most important collections of its kind.
As you explore the galleries, you will travel back to the Bronze Age, discovering the different stages of the Early Cycladic civilisation. The collection includes iconic marble figurines, elegant vases, bronze weapons, tools and pottery, offering a fascinating insight into everyday life on the Aegean islands thousands of years ago.
