Program Description
Discover some of the most interesting places around Tokyo on a full-day tour combining cultural landmarks, mountain scenery and traditional villages. Depending on the option selected, visit the Great Buddha of Kotoku-in, cruise across Lake Ashi and explore scenic locations around Mount Fuji.
If selected, begin with a visit to the Great Buddha of Kotoku-in, an impressive bronze statue and an important symbol of Japan's Buddhist heritage.
Continue to Hakone, where a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi offers views of the surrounding mountain scenery. On clear days, you may also see Mount Fuji from the lake.
Next, visit Oshino Hakkai, known for its spring-fed ponds and preserved traditional architecture. The final stop is Oishi Park on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi, offering views towards Mount Fuji when visibility is favourable.
Depending on the option selected, lunch at a local restaurant may be included.
