Program Description
Travel back in time to the rural north-east coast, where the unique atmosphere of bygone years has been preserved. Drive along the off-road route to the Laurissilva forest. Short walk to viewpoints. The further route leads towards the village of Santana. There are traditional thatched houses and other relics from the past that still work, including a water sawmill and a steam-powered rum factory. Return to the hotel.
