Program Description

Visit to the Botanical Garden of the Blandy family estate with captivating plants imported from around the world, arranged in the style of 19th-century English mansions. A drive to Pico de Arieiro - the third largest peak of Madeira (1818 m), from which, in good weather, you can see the crown of the island and the spectacular mountain landscapes. Then drive to Ribeiro Frio and and a short stop. A visit to the heritage park of traditional houses with thatched roofs in the village of Santana, followed by the lovely village of Porto da Cruz. At last, the opportunity to admire the cliff landscape of the peninsula of St Lawrence, vantage points with a panorama of Eagle Rock, the islands of Porto Santo, Desertas and the runway of the airport supported on 180 columns.

The tour can be organized in a small group (up to 8 persons) on request basis.
