Program Description

Take a bus ride to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk, famous for its colourful boats luzzu. Walk through the local bazaar on the quay every Sunday. You can buy clothes, toys for children, sweets (e.g. fig cakes or Maltese cannoli) or seafood and, of course, fresh fish. After a visit to the bustling marketplace you can go on an optional cruise inside the beautiful Blue Grotto - the cruises are organized only in favorable weather conditions. If the wind is too strong, you can admire the beauty of the area or the rocky island of Filfla from the viewing point. Then take a guided walk through the winding streets of Marsaxlokk. Return to the hotel.
