Program Description
Singapore has a unique connection with its river, which played a central role in the city’s commercial and urban development. A Singapore River cruise offers a more relaxed way to experience this part of the city, away from the pace of the surrounding streets.
The route passes along Clarke Quay, one of Singapore’s best-known riverside districts. Restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment venues line the waterfront, creating a contemporary setting that still reflects the area’s long-standing trading heritage.
Traditional shophouses are among the most distinctive features of the riverfront. Historically combining commercial and residential spaces, their facades form an elegant contrast with Singapore’s modern architecture and recall a time when the river was one of the city’s most important commercial routes.
During the cruise, you can take in the atmosphere and architecture of the Singapore waterfront at an unhurried pace. It is a refined way to combine sightseeing with a moment of relaxation on the water.
