Program Description
Imagine opening a door and stepping into a world that for generations belonged exclusively to one of Spain’s most prominent aristocratic families. This is how a visit to the Liria Palace begins - an 18th-century residence of the House of Alba that now opens its doors to reveal its grand interiors, art collection and centuries of history.
Discover 14 rooms, each offering a different perspective on the palace. Built between 1767 and 1785, it has survived destruction, reconstruction and several renovations while retaining its character. Today, it remains the official residence of the House of Alba.
As you move through the palace, you’ll also discover its private art collection, featuring works by artists including Goya and Rubens. The paintings and collections are more than just decorative pieces - they form part of the story of the palace and the family who preserved this heritage across generations.
To bring the story to life, your visit is accompanied by an immersive audio guide. Carefully selected music complements the atmosphere of each room, while the voices of popular actors guide you through the history of the palace and its collections. Instead of simply looking at the interiors, you can become immersed in the stories connected to them.
