Program Description

Retiro Park is one of the places where Madrid reveals its more peaceful side. With its green paths, distinctive corners and wide open spaces, it is the perfect setting to start your tour and explore by electric bike. Later, you'll discover a completely different side of the city - the Prado Museum and works by some of Europe's greatest masters.

Near Retiro Park, you'll meet your guide and collect your electric bike. The route through the park takes around an hour, with stops at selected spots along the way. There will be time to take in some of Retiro's highlights and take photos before continuing on.

After returning the bikes, you'll walk to the Prado Museum, whose history dates back to the former Spanish Royal Collection. Among more than 7,000 paintings, you'll find works by Velázquez, Goya, Bosch and Rubens. During the approximately 1.5-hour guided tour, your guide will tell you about selected works, their creators and the stories behind them, helping you understand their significance.

The Prado is more than paintings hanging on the walls. It also reflects Spain's history and the tastes of generations of royal collectors. During your visit, you'll see works that have become an important part of European art history.

After the guided tour, you can stay in the museum and continue exploring at your own pace. If a particular work catches your attention, you can spend more time with it or discover more of the museum's galleries.
