Explore the fascinating world of transport at the Swiss Museum of Transport (Verkehrshaus) and discover what it's like to sit in a fighter jet cockpit or experience the sensation of flying in a wingsuit. That's just the beginning – the museum takes you through the history of transport from the earliest days of navigation to space exploration.
Discover how technological progress has changed the way we travel, move around and explore the world. Interactive experiences offer a unique perspective on some of humanity's greatest engineering achievements.
Your visit also includes Media World, a space dedicated to media and the ways it influences how we experience and document the world around us.

- Information is available in German, French, English and Italian; selected exhibits also have QR codes with information in Chinese.
- Lockers are available at the entrance (2 CHF)
- Children under 6 accompanied by a parent or guardian enter free of charge and do not need a ticket.
- The venue is stroller accessible.
- Pets are not allowed, except for service animals.
- Food and drinks are allowed in the outdoor exhibition areas, but not in the halls or restaurants; in winter, a heated railway carriage is available next to the Rail Transport Hall.
