Program Description

Discover two remarkable landmarks in Bangkok during an approximately 3-hour walking tour with a guide. Wat Pho and Wat Arun offer a chance to explore Buddhist architecture, intricate decorations and the atmosphere of temples that form an important part of Thailand’s cultural heritage.

Your first stop will be Wat Pho, one of the oldest and largest Buddhist temples in Bangkok. This is where you will find the famous Reclining Buddha - an impressive statue measuring 46 metres in length. As you walk around the temple complex, you will also have the opportunity to admire colourful mosaics and richly decorated religious buildings.

Next, you will make your way to Wat Arun, an approximately 300-year-old temple located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Its distinctive architecture and geometric forms make it one of Bangkok’s most recognisable temples. Take a closer look at the thousands of colourful mosaic pieces decorating the temple and learn more about its connection with Buddhist traditions and meditation.

Exploring with an experienced guide gives you the opportunity to learn more about Bangkok’s temples and discover details that can easily be missed when sightseeing on your own.

The order of sightseeing and the programme are subject to change.
