Program Description
Discover the spectacular scenery of Phang Nga Bay on a full-day excursion combining a traditional long-tail boat ride, canoeing and an insight into local culture.
After travelling to the pier in Phang Nga, board a long-tail boat and cruise through Phang Nga Bay National Park. Along the way, admire mangrove forests, unusual rock formations and Tham Lot Cave, where you can pass through the cave opening to the other side.
Continue to Khao Phing Kan, known as the “Leaning Mountain”, and nearby James Bond Island (Koh Tapu). The distinctive rock rising from the sea became famous after appearing in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun.
After sightseeing, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit Koh Panyee, a unique village built on stilts over the water. Mainly inhabited by Muslim fishermen, the village has preserved its distinctive traditions and local culture. You will also have time to browse the local souvenir shops.
On the way back, visit Wat Suwan Khu Ha, where you can see an impressive reclining Buddha inside a cave. After the tour, return to your hotel.
